This simple breakfast recipe (literally) spices up the average yogurt parfait. It is easily customizable as apples could be replaced with pears or other seasonal fruit, and different yogurts/granolas/nuts can be used if desired!

Ingredients (for 1 serving):
1 apple
1 container of dairy-free yogurt
135g granola
5 pecans
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp sugar
A sprinkle of cinnamon
1 tsp maple syrup
Procedure:
For the apple pie filling...
Cut up the two apples into bite size cubes.
In a medium saucepan, caramelize the apples in coconut oil, sugar, and cinnamon (4-5 minutes).
For the parfait ...
Layer the yogurt, maple syrup drizzle, apple pie filling, and granola in a bowl or jar.
Garnish with pecans and/or any of your favorite nuts/seeds!
