Salted Spinach-Plum Cake

The best salted plumcake for a delicious brunch!

Season: Spring

Preparation time: 10 min

Total cooking time: 55 min

Ingredients for 8 people:

  • 250 g Flour (choose the one you prefer)

  • 250 g Spinach

  • 150 mL Almond milk

  • 60 g seeds oil

  • 80 g grated cheese

  • 80 g Emmental

  • 5 eggs

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 15 g Baking Powder

  • Salt, pepper and nutmeg


  1. Saute the spinach in a frying pan with a little oil, salt and a glove of garlic.

  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C

  3. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, oil, salt and pepper.

  4. Add the grated cheese, Emmental and chopped spinach

  5. In a separate bowl mix the flour and the baking powder together and add a little at a time to the egg and spinach mixture

  6. Transfer the mixture in a cake tin lined with baking paper and put it into the oven for 45 minutes.

  7. If it darkens too much, cover the dough with baking paper.

  8. Et booon appetit !! The spinach plumcake is ready to be served.
